Frequently Asked Questions..

Q: Is Wifi/Internet access available?

Wifi offerings and availability in rural areas are not equivalent to what many people are accustomed to in urban areas.  At the present time we have limited Wifi available on most areas of the property. The district is currently in the process of expanding fibre based wifi to the rural community.  We will be subscribing to this service once it is available.  Our observation last year was that the smart phone data plans are now more than sufficient for the vast majority of guests.

Q: Are there any types of watercraft/toys provided?
Yes, we currently offer the following to all guests free of charge;
3 single kayaks

1 2 person kayak
1 canoe
2 paddleboards

Q: Do you allow pets?
Although we are fond of pets, not everyone is comfortable having them around.  Given that there are multiple cottages on the property, our current policy is to not allow guests to bring their pets.  We can provide local pet boarding options if required.

Q: Are boat rentals available?
We currently have one pontoon boat with a 40HP motor available for daily or weekly rental.  Other options are available from local marinas.

Q: Is Firewood Provided?

Firewood is provided.

Q: Is there a BBQ?
Yes, each cottage has its own BBQ.  BBQ tools are in the kitchen.

Q: Is Drinking Water Necessary?
Water coolers are provided.  The tap water is double filtered, chlorinated and tested weekly.
